My first BJJ tournament was in Salem, Oregon, on May 16, 2025. It was super fun; I got a gold medal in no gi and a silver medal in gi. It was great going against people I hadn’t faced before. My BJJ coach, David Sigler, helped me avoid losing by submission at the tournament. I
